Foro Italico

Foro Italico is a sports complex, built between 1928 and 1938, under the design of Enrico Del Debbio and Luigi Moretti. Inspired by the Roman forums of the imperial age, with mosaics and obelisk, its design is lauded as a preeminent example of Italian architecture of that period.

In the complex you'll find the Marbles Stadium (Stadio dei Marmi), surrounded by statues of athletes, and the Olympic Stadium, built for the Olimpic Games in 1960.
